Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on heavy steel-processing equipment. This role is critical to maximizing equipment uptime and supporting safe, efficient production on three RBI cut-to-length lines and one Branner slitting line.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Troubleshoot diagnose and repair electrical issues involving PLCs VFDs motors sensors relays control circuits and automated equipment
  • 2Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on RBI cut-to-length lines and one Branner slitting line
  • 3Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints wiring diagrams and technical manuals to identify and correct equipment issues
  • 4Conduct routine inspections testing and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
  • 5Install repair and replace electrical components panels conduit wiring switches sensors and other control-system hardware
  • 6Run conduit pull wire and assist with installation or modification of new electrical systems and equipment
  • 7Document maintenance activities repairs inspections and parts used
  • 8Work closely with production and maintenance teams to respond promptly to equipment failures and minimize operational interruptions
  • 9Follow all OSHA NEC company safety policies and plant-specific lockout tagout procedures

Requirements10

  • 1Minimum of 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2Experience in steel processing heavy manufacturing metal fabrication or other heavy industrial environments preferred
  • 3Strong PLC and VFD troubleshooting skills
  • 4Ability to read and understand electrical schematics blueprints wiring diagrams and control-system documentation
  • 5Knowledge of electrical safety practices OSHA requirements NEC standards and LOTO procedures
  • 6Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license is strongly preferred
  • 7Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the new facility in Waller TX
  • 8Preferred Skills Experience with cut-to-length lines slitting lines or similar steel-processing equipment
  • 9Familiarity with motors drives industrial controls instrumentation and electrical panel installation
  • 10Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
