What You'll Do8
- 1Answer phone calls and route prescription requests to the pharmacy team accurately.
- 2Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system with high accuracy.
- 3Operate the register to process transactions and handle cash, credit, and insurance payments.
- 4Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including counting, labeling, and packaging.
- 5Provide courteous and friendly customer service to each patient, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
- 6Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy workspace, ensuring compliance with safety and privacy standards.
- 7Support inventory management by restocking shelves and checking expiration dates on medications.
- 8Collaborate with the pharmacy staff to streamline workflows and reduce wait times during peak hours.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of data entry experience required.
- 21+ years of customer service experience required.
- 31+ years of cash handling experience preferred.
- 4Strong phone skills and professional communication abilities.
- 5Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs as needed.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent.
- 7Willingness to complete pharmacy technician training and pursue certification.
- 8Flexibility to work Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-6:00 PM and Saturday 9 AM-1:00 PM.
