Pediatric LPN, Home Care with Tracheostomy & Ventilation
Overview
LPN will provide 1:1 pediatric home care for a child in Edison NJ with tracheostomy and vent experience at BAYADA. You will join a dedicated Skilled Nursing team delivering high quality care in the client’s home environment. This role emphasizes autonomy, compassionate supervision, and building lasting family relationships. You will receive extensive training and flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build Do detailed patient assessments and document orders in the home setting
- 2Design and execute care plans for pediatric clients with tracheostomy and vent needs
- 3Lead one-to-one nursing care, ensuring safety and comfort during every shift
- 4Ship accurate medication administration and monitoring of pediatric patients
- 5Own documentation of observations, interventions, and evaluations in the client chart
- 6Scale skills through ongoing training and competency expansion within BAYADA Pediatric SN team
- 7Drive adherence to doctors orders and reporting of changes in condition
- 8Provide compassionate support to families, maintaining trust and communication
- 9Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and milestones
- 10Follow safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean, safe home care environment
Requirements10
- 1Graduation from an accredited nursing program and LPN license in good standing in New York
- 2Current LPN license in state of New York
- 3Experience with pediatric nursing preferred, including tracheostomy care and vent management
- 4Clinical experience with G-tube care preferred
- 5Availability for shifts including mornings, evenings, and some overnight hours as listed
- 6Ability to travel to client home in Edison NJ or nearby areas
- 7Strong communication and documentation skills
- 8Comfort working in a private home setting with a single client
- 9Commitment to BAYADA values of compassion, excellence, and reliability
- 10Must be able to pass background checks and health screenings
