Overview
You will own payroll processing for a 4-month project in Acton, MA, ensuring accurate and timely payments for a workforce of 500+ employees. You will report to the Payroll Manager and collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies. This role requires hands-on work with ADP Workforce Now and Excel for audits and reconciliations. What You'll Do7
- 1Process weekly and biweekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- 2Reconcile payroll data against HR records, investigating and resolving discrepancies before the pay run.
- 3Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, highlighting variances and trends.
- 4Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
- 5Respond to employee payroll inquiries, resolving issues within 24 hours.
- 6Support year-end processing, including W-2 preparation and tax filing.
- 7Audit time and attendance data from Kronos, correcting errors before processing.
Requirements6
- 12+ years of payroll processing experience, with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
- 2Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- 3Working knowledge of payroll tax laws and compliance requirements.
- 4Ability to work onsite in Acton, MA for the full 4-month project.
- 5Experience with Kronos timekeeping systems is a bonus.
- 6Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary Insight
$87 - $89k per year
