Patient Service Specialist - Carient Heart & Vascular
Overview
We seek a friendly professional Patient Service Specialist to join our team in Northern Virginia. This role supports our 16 Cardiologists and 5 Vascular Surgeons across 8 locations. You will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate records and scheduling appointments.
What You'll Do11
- 1Provide exceptional customer service and efficient communication
- 2Greet patients and referring providers positively and professionally
- 3Accurately register and verify demographic information in the EMR
- 4Identify accepted insurance plans and process referrals
- 5Schedule diagnostic testing consultations and office visits
- 6Collect co-payments and patient balances
- 7Maintain clean and organized workspaces and waiting areas
- 8Travel between locations as needed with weekly day off
- 9Utilize NextGen and Phreesia systems effectively
- 10Operate PC fax scanners and Windows 10 Office applications
- 11Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
Requirements10
- 1High School diploma or equivalent
- 2Minimum 2-year medical office experience
- 3Excellent communication skills
- 4Proficiency with EMR systems
- 5Spanish speaking ability
- 6Availability for Saturday rotations every three months
- 75+ years experience with medical billing processes
- 8AWS Certified cloud certification preferred
- 9CPC Card certification required
- 10Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
