What You'll Do10
- 1Greet and screen patients, schedule visits, and verify information in the electronic health records system
- 2Input accurate patient data into EMR and support systems and maintain data integrity
- 3Manage high volumes of reception duties including telephone inquiries, messages, and routing to clinical teams
- 4Prepare and process correspondence and handle routine medical administrative inquiries
- 5Assist in medical record maintenance, retrieval, and secure transmission as required by law and policy
- 6Coordinate scheduling to maximize provider and patient time and ensure smooth clinic operations
- 7Contribute to internal communication across multiple software platforms and maintain organized files
- 8Support care and maintenance of office equipment and general office systems
- 9Ensure reliable attendance and consistent performance in a busy healthcare environment
- 10Uphold privacy, security, and confidentiality standards for patient information
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Minimum two years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- 3Working knowledge of medical terminology
- 4Experience with electronic medical records is a plus
- 5Strong customer service, organization, and attention to detail
- 6Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
