Patient Service Representative, Dermatology Front Desk & Scheduling
Overview
The Patient Service Representative will own front desk operations at a dermatology office, handling patient check-in, scheduling, and insurance verification for a multi-provider practice. This role supports a fast paced medical environment across Frontier Dermatology locations, collaborating with clinicians and administrative staff. You will contribute to a positive patient experience, accuracy in deposits and payments, and a smooth reception workflow at the Mill Creek site.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build a welcoming patient experience at the front desk and manage multi provider check ins
- 2Design appointment schedules and verify insurance to reduce denials and delays
- 3Drive cash handling and daily deposits with accuracy and integrity
- 4Ship patient communications and coordinate with clinical teams for timely visits
- 5Own patient data entry and computer system operations across multiple programs
- 6Manage front desk tasks with attention to detail in a fast paced environment
- 7Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication to patients and teammates
- 8Scale daily reconciliation tasks to ensure timely financial reporting
- 9Develop a calm, organized reception area that supports clinic efficiency

Requirements5
- 1HS Diploma or GED
- 21-3 months related healthcare experience or preferred medical office receptionist experience
- 3Comfortable in a fast paced environment with multiple duties including scheduling, insurance verification, and copay collection
- 4Strong customer service skills and highly organized with attention to detail
- 5Ability to work onsite in Mill Creek and adapt to routine changes
