Patient Experience Coordinator, Healthcare & EMR Systems
Overview
Own the patient journey from check-in to follow-up across multiple clinic sites in a high-touch fertility care environment. Lead scheduling, intake, and insurance verification while collaborating with clinicians and administrators to ensure a seamless patient experience. This onsite, full-time role supports Tinley Park and Oak Brook locations with a structured training schedule and a Monday–Friday core week. What You'll Do6
- 1Welcome and check in patients, verify personal and insurance information, and guide them to appropriate departments
- 2Answer and manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and support clinical staff
- 3Maintain accurate patient records, process billing information, and collect copays and balance dues at point of service
- 4Prepare for next day’s appointments and ensure all documentation and materials are ready
- 5Ensure reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for all visitors
- 6Assist with additional projects and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical receptionist, front desk associate, or in a customer service-related role
- 3Proficiency with electronic medical records EMR and basic computer skills
- 4Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- 5Must be able to commute to Tinley Park and Oak Brook locations as needed
