What You'll Do10

  • 1Build patient check-in and check-out processes ensuring accurate demographics and insurance data
  • 2Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate external tests and imaging
  • 3Update EMR with changes to patient accounts and document physician orders
  • 4Obtain prior authorizations for radiology and labs when required
  • 5Cross train with front desk personnel and communicate effectively with physicians to support care delivery
  • 6Ship or relay radiology and lab orders to appropriate departments
  • 7Verify patient information and maintain accurate records for audits
  • 8Prepare and process lab requisition forms
  • 9Assist with administrative tasks as requested by management
  • 10Drive patient satisfaction by maintaining a warm and caring environment

Requirements5

  • 1High school diploma or GED
  • 2Six months related experience or training
  • 3Knowledge of EMR and medical terminology
  • 4Understanding of ICD-10 and CPT codes is a plus
