What You'll Do11
- 1Provide direct patient care including ADLs and monitor vital signs, intake and output, and wound care
- 2Perform skilled procedures such as phlebotomy, catheterization, and bladder scans following hospital protocols
- 3Assist with cardiac monitoring and transport of low-level monitoring patients
- 4Document patient conditions and communicate changes to nursing staff
- 5Maintain unit cleanliness and organize supplies
- 6Support admission discharge and transfer processes
- 7Participate in quality initiatives and precept new technicians
- 8Complete IV insertions removals and medication administration
- 9Conduct skin surveys and encourage respiratory therapies
- 10Follow infection control practices and maintain patient privacy
- 11Execute orders for tests and procedures while documenting outcomes
Requirements8
- 1Minimum High School Diploma or GED with relevant clinical experience
- 2Proficiency in IV access phlebotomy and catheterization techniques
- 3Experience with EKG interpretation and basic cardiac monitoring
- 4Strong documentation skills using electronic health records
- 5Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
- 6Valid CPR certification and background clearance
- 7Commitment to patient safety and HIPAA compliance
- 8Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience preferred
