Overview
You will prepare and insert invasive monitoring equipment in peri-operative procedures at Allegheny Health Network's AGH. You maintain anesthetizing locations and manage supplies, medications, and equipment readiness. Collaborate with anesthesia staff in a Level I trauma center. What You'll Do6
- 1Prepare and insert invasive monitoring equipment with anesthesia personnel during procedures.
- 2Build a state of readiness for all anesthetizing locations, checking equipment and supplies.
- 3Maintain the Anesthesia workroom with strict cleanliness and organization standards.
- 4Manage equipment, supplies, and medications under established guidelines for safe, cost-effective care.
- 5Participate in hospital, division, and department activities to support team goals.
- 6Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data security policies when handling patient information.
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Emergency/Medical related work.
- 2Graduate from an accredited Anesthesia Tech school or program.
- 3ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.) preferred.
- 4CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- 5Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the code of business conduct.
