Overview
The Radiologic Technologist II owns patient preparation and imaging processes at Glenbrook Hospital. This role drives quality outcomes through independent operation of equipment and collaboration within a high‑volume clinical team.
What You'll Do7
- 1Prepare patients for exam by obtaining histories explaining procedures positioning patients and ensuring comfort
- 2Perform radiographic exams and review radiographs for optimal quality
- 3Submit images and reports to RIS promptly while maintaining department cleanliness
- 4Operate all imaging equipment with minimal supervision and manage supply restocking tasks
- 5Assist with film printing and retrieve reports as needed
- 6Travel to NorthShore facilities when required and identify environmental equipment issues
- 7Maintain accurate records and support internal/external customer needs
Requirements5
- 1Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program
- 2Valid IEMA license and CPR certification with ARRT registry eligibility
- 3Minimum 5+ years radiology experience including previous clinical roles
- 4Strong interpersonal communication and customer service abilities
- 5Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
