What You'll Do11
- 1Obtain and examine requisition for every exam to identify procedure details and patient condition
- 2Question patient before procedure to gather pertinent history and document findings
- 3Screen and document possible pregnancy for all female patients of child-bearing age
- 4Select proper film and place appropriate markers on cassettes
- 5Use lead gonadal shield or protective apparel to safeguard unaffected body parts
- 6Position x-ray equipment correctly to produce clear diagnostic radiographs
- 7Demonstrate competence in required anatomical positioning and adapt to varying patient conditions
- 8Review patient condition to determine optimal exposure factors for each radiograph
- 9Maintain annual CPR certification to ensure patient safety
- 10Operate all equipment safely following hospital and departmental policies
- 11Apply Universal Precautions to prevent bodily fluid exposure
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in radiology technology
- 3Graduate of approved radiology technology school
- 4Knowledge of x-ray equipment, including portable units
- 5Physical ability to lift 50 lbs with assistance and 35 lbs independently
- 6Ability to communicate effectively across diverse patient populations
- 7Understanding of institutional policies regarding patient care and safety
- 8Commitment to continuous learning through QI plan participation
- 9Proficiency in Universal Precautions and ARRT licensure maintenance
- 10Experience with IDNS registry and CPR certification
- 11Willingness to assist in other departments and volunteer for additional tasks
