Radiology Technologist PRN - Rehabilitation Hospital
Overview
You will perform diagnostic imaging for patients in a rehab setting at RHI, a nationally ranked rehabilitation hospital. You will interpret physician orders, position patients properly, and operate radiology equipment to produce quality images for patients aged 15 and older. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of rehab specialists, including nurses and therapists, in a supportive environment. This PRN role offers flexibility in scheduling inpatient exams, requiring just one shift per month and one weekend on call.

- 1Position patients appropriately for radiology exams, ensuring accuracy and comfort
- 2Follow radiation and safety guidelines to protect patients and staff
- 3Produce high-quality images and submit them promptly for diagnostic review
- 4Operate the C-Arm proficiently during procedures
- 5Prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced rehab environment
- 6Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members using AIDET
- 7Treat patients with care and respect, addressing their individual needs
- 8Schedule inpatient exams flexibly within your timeline and availability
Requirements6
- 1ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist
- 2Current license from the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH)
- 3Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 4Ability to work with patients aged 15 and older
- 5Minimum commitment of one 8-hour shift per month and one weekend on call (8-4pm Sat/Sun)
- 6Proficiency with C-Arm equipment
