Radiologic Technologist Evening Shift - TridentCare
Overview
You will own portable DR imaging for TridentCare's evening mobile service, covering the Kansas City area from 3:30 PM to midnight on weekends. You'll drive a company vehicle to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, jails, and patient homes, producing diagnostic X-rays for Radiologist interpretation. You'll also perform EKGs when needed and transmit results to Cardiologists. This role stands out for its independence and direct patient impact in geriatric and correctional settings.
What You'll Do8
- 1Operate portable DR radiology equipment to capture diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation at various locations.
- 2Drive a company vehicle with radiology equipment to nursing homes, assisted livings, jails, and patient homes for ordered X-ray exams.
- 3Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
- 4Scan and transmit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
- 5Communicate with dispatch and management to coordinate route and patient status.
- 6Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients during each encounter.
- 7Maintain company vehicle and X-ray equipment in a professional and safe condition.
- 8Execute special projects or additional duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements7
- 1ARRT Certification and required state licenses, including Illinois licensure (willing to obtain, company reimburses).
- 2Valid driver's license in Missouri and maintain a good standing record.
- 3Newly registered technologists are encouraged to apply.
- 4Self-motivated and dependable, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- 5Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments and challenging conditions.
- 6Experience working with geriatric patients.
- 7Comfortable driving a company vehicle for mobile service.
