Part-Time Fulfillment Associate - Flexible (Boston)
Overview
You will pick, stage, and inspect customer orders with accuracy and speed at a high-volume Lowe's distribution center. You will operate Forklifts, Order Pickers, and Narrow Aisle Reach Trucks to move product and maintain certification. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy, using Orders App and SIMS to validate and resolve issues. What You'll Do8
- 1Pick, stage, and inspect customer orders with RF scanners and Orders App to ensure accuracy and on-time shipment.
- 2Operate Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck to move and retrieve product safely, following all safety protocols.
- 3Maintain SIMS compliance by scanning and logging inventory movements, resolving short picks with leadership.
- 4Keep staging areas clean, organized, and hazard-free to support efficient order fulfillment.
- 5Complete daily audits, order follow-ups, and locker management to maintain operational readiness.
- 6Report safety or theft concerns immediately to supervisors, fostering a secure work environment.
- 7Assist customers by answering questions and connecting them with the right associates when needed.
- 8Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals and adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements6
- 16 months experience using a computer for data entry and retrieval.
- 26 months experience with retail technology, including smart phones and tablets.
- 3Current Powered Equipment Certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (or ability to obtain before start).
- 4High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 56 months in retail, customer service, or product fulfillment, preferably at a home improvement retailer.
- 66 months experience inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product in vehicles.
