What You'll Do7
- 1Pick, stage, and inspect customer orders with RF scanning and Orders App, achieving a 99% accuracy rate within your first 90 days.
- 2Operate Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck safely, maintaining certification and adherence to safety protocols.
- 3Validate order quality by selecting high-grade items, resolving discrepancies, and escalating complex issues to senior associates.
- 4Maintain SIMS compliance by auditing inventory counts, investigating short picks, and partnering with leadership to correct stock variances.
- 5Manage staging areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, reducing product damage and retrieval time by 15%.
- 6Complete daily administrative tasks, including order follow-ups, locker audits, and safety reporting, ensuring zero missed compliance checks.
- 7Support team readiness by cross-training in adjacent departments like kitchen, plumbing, and electrical during peak periods.
Requirements7
- 16 months of experience using a computer for data entry, retrieval, and modification.
- 26 months of experience with retail technology, including smartphones and tablets.
- 3Powered Equipment Certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (may be obtained post-hire).
- 4Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
- 5Preferred: 6 months of retail experience, ideally in a home improvement or hardware setting.
- 6Preferred: 6 months in a customer service or fulfillment role at a home improvement retailer (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden).
- 7Preferred: 6 months of experience inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product from vehicles.
