What You'll Do7
- 1Pick, stage, and inspect customer orders for accuracy and on-time delivery, using the Orders App to track and validate selections.
- 2Operate Forklifts, Order Pickers, and Narrow Aisle Reach Trucks safely, maintaining Powered Equipment Certification throughout employment.
- 3Keep staging areas clean and organized to prevent damage and speed up the next shift's start.
- 4Resolve short picks by partnering with leadership and using SIMS to flag inventory discrepancies in real time.
- 5Complete daily audits and order follow-ups via handheld devices, escalating safety or theft concerns immediately.
- 6Support teammates during peak hours by cross-training on loading and unloading tasks, keeping product flow steady.
- 7Maintain equipment readiness by performing pre-shift inspections and reporting any mechanical issues to maintenance.
Requirements6
- 16 months experience using a computer to input, access, and modify data.
- 26 months experience with retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
- 3Powered Equipment Certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (may be obtained on site).
- 4High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 56 months in retail, customer service, or product fulfillment at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
- 66 months experience inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product in or out of vehicles.
