Overview

Own daily transportation routes for OSBI Participants with a focus on safety and compassionate supervision. Work on a Monday–Friday schedule with two daily shifts in Phoenix, AZ. Join a nonprofit DES/DDD licensed provider and collaborate with the Transportation Team to implement routes and ensure vehicle readiness. This role emphasizes communication with families and proactive reporting.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Collaborate with the Transportation department to implement and maintain transportation routes and schedules for daily home to program and program to home transportation needs
  • 2Report all accidents and incidents to the Transportation Supervisor or Manager and file reports with the insurance provider and management team
  • 3Ensure vehicle transportation books, emergency first aid, and safety packs are complete and perform vehicle checklists before each transportation run
  • 4Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report repair or supply needs to the Transportation Coordinator at the start of each run
  • 5Communicate with Participant families/guardians to ensure smooth execution of the transportation plan

Requirements6

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2Must be 21 or older
  • 3Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
  • 4Ability to gain knowledge and implement compassionate and safe supervision practices for individuals with ID
  • 5Good driving record
  • 6Appropriate certifications and clearance according to State Regulations
