What You'll Do10

  • 1Build training programs for assembly work and ensure quality control of member output
  • 2Design and maintain program documentation, safety, and cleanliness to support compliant operations
  • 3Track member program goals and objectives to demonstrate progress and outcomes
  • 4Track quality control of contract work to meet service standards
  • 5Supervise staff and members in workshop and community settings and support community based employment initiatives
  • 6Drive van operations safely and assist members with on/off loading and transportation
  • 7Assist in crisis intervention and maintain positive relationships with members, guardians, and the public
  • 8Participate in staff development programs and uphold human and civil rights protections
  • 9Maintain accurate forms and paperwork and ensure timely submission
  • 10Foster organization image and professionalism in all interactions

Requirements10

  • 1High School Diploma or equivalent plus minimum 2 years experience working with persons with disabilities
  • 2Associates degree preferred in related field and three years of experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education
  • 3Valid Arizona Driver License and clean 39 month Motor Vehicle Report
  • 4Fingerprint Clearance Card and CPR First Aid and Article 9 certifications or willingness to obtain
  • 5Bilingual and/or sign language a plus
  • 6Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • 7Strong social and communication skills to work with disabled individuals
  • 8Basic mathematical and reasoning abilities
  • 9Supervisory experience preferred
  • 10Commitment to safety and crisis intervention procedures
