Overview
Paramedic Technician role in a large nonprofit health system, serving the greater Phoenix area. You will work under licensed clinicians to deliver direct patient care across ages and development levels and support the ED team during night shifts. You’ll contribute to safe patient care, accurate documentation, and education reinforcement. This role is onsite in Deer Valley, Phoenix, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and compassionate service.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and provide direct patient care under supervision
- 2Assist with transport, perform vital signs, and contribute to care plans
- 3Administer medications under supervision following approved lists
- 4Maintain clean, stocked, and safe environments and document care provided
- 5Reinforce patient education and coordinate with healthcare team on questions or concerns
- 6Answer patch phone after training and support the ED team as directed
Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 2Graduate of an EMT-P training course approved under Arizona 9 A.A.C. 25 Articles 2 4 and 5
- 31 year experience in pre-hospital emergency medical service or equivalent
- 4Associate Degree Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 5Certified Paramedic certification required (ADHS Paramedic or AZ State)
- 6BLS ACLS PALS certifications required within 180 days of start
