What You'll Do11
- 1Assess patient acuity and match care to unit and hospital resources
- 2Perform basic patient care including positioning transportation phlebotomy ECGs and spinal precautions
- 3Administer or monitor approved medications and start/maintain IV lines
- 4Manage cardiovascular monitoring and airway procedures per state guidelines
- 5Resuscitate critical patients and document assessments according to unit standards
- 6Interact with staff across departments and external partners to ensure seamless patient care
- 7Document patient progress and discharge plans following established guidelines
- 8Maintain accurate records and communicate status updates to charge nurses and physicians
- 9Collaborate with Banner Estrella Medical Center for continuity of care
- 10Support part‑time scheduling across weekend and holiday shifts
- 11Implement safety protocols and maintain a people‑centered culture
Requirements7
- 12+ years experience working in an Emergency Department
- 2High school diploma or equivalent with current paramedic certification
- 3Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- 4FP-C or CCT‑P preferred for ICU burn or critical care roles
- 5Strong communication and teamwork skills in high‑pressure environments
- 6Ability to operate Spark and Airflow for data analysis tasks
- 7Commitment to delivering compassionate patient care
