What You'll Do9
- 1Assess and manage medical trauma emergencies under RN or physician supervision
- 2Provide patient care aligned with individual needs within scope of practice
- 3Maintain safe facility environment under ED RN or Charge Nurse direction
- 4Hold current BLS certification and renew as required
- 5Obtain and sustain current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire
- 6Earn PALS certification within 30 days of hire
- 7Become a certified licensed EMT through state certification
- 8Drive efficient emergency response and patient handling operations
- 9Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent for new hires effective April 2014
- 2Basic EMT training or emergency department experience
- 3Current BLS certification maintained throughout employment
- 4Current ACLS certification maintained throughout employment
- 5State-certified EMT credential
- 65+ years of relevant healthcare experience
- 7Proven ability to work night shifts
