- 7Coordinate with EMS agencies to resolve unresolved prehospital care issues
- 8Implement pediatric care protocols through ENPC certification
- 9Supervise junior nurses and provide mentorship during shifts
- 10Analyze patient flow data to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions
- 11Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements11
- 1Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license from California Board of Registered Nursing
- 2Basic Life Support Provider and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider certifications
- 3Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider certification from AHA
- 4National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale proficiency within 30 days of hire
- 5Completed Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course or equivalent within 6 months
- 6Completed Current Trauma Nursing Core Course or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses within 6 months
- 7Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience preferably in trauma settings
- 8Bachelor's degree in Nursing or current enrollment in RN program with BSN completion within 2 years
- 9Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems
- 10Ability to pass Basic Dysrhythmia course within 21 days of hire
- 11Demonstrated ability to excel in fast-paced clinical environments
