What You'll Do11
- 1Supervise students during all program activities including play periods lunch assemblies emergency drills field trips
- 2Reinforce skills and material with individual students or small groups near teacher
- 3Assist in preparing lessons instructing children using age-appropriate curriculum
- 4Assist students with social and emotional needs building positive behaviors navigating social situations
- 5Distribute and collect instructional materials copy and file documents assist assessments grading
- 6Develop and create bulletin boards maintaining engaging orderly learning environment
- 7Translate for students parents and staff when required maintain confidentiality of protected information
- 8Operate and care for instructional equipment adhering to district policies and safety protocols
- 9Remain flexible perform related duties as assigned
- 10Adhere to professional qualities responding promptly efficiently friendly patient manner
- 11Collaborate effectively as team members
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or associate degree or 60 semester hours
- 2Satisfactory results on AZ state-approved competency exam
- 3Ability to operate standard office equipment computer related software
- 4Vision and hearing adequate to exercise job responsibilities safely
- 5Satisfactory criminal background check
