What You'll Do11
- 1Assist teacher by supporting classroom instruction and modifying materials for modified learners
- 2Provide individualized tutoring across subjects as required
- 3Supervise student behavior and escort them throughout campus
- 4Maintain classroom organization and prepare instructional resources
- 5Participate in parent communications and maintain accurate student records
- 6Support grading processes and document academic progress
- 7Attend professional development and school meetings
- 8Conduct assessments in multiple domains including academic and social growth
- 9Prepare visual aids and manage classroom displays
- 10Process administrative tasks such as copying and filing
- 11Execute additional duties based on managerial needs
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or GED with one year educational experience or equivalent work history
- 2Valid Arizona teaching license or special education endorsement
- 3First Aid and CPR certification obtained within 30 days of hire
- 4Strong interpersonal abilities and patience when working with children
- 5Ability to lift 60 pounds and perform physical tasks involving bending kneeling or reaching
- 6Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with educational software
- 7Understanding of classroom management techniques and behavioral intervention strategies
- 8Effective communication skills for interacting with staff families and students
- 9Commitment to supporting inclusive educational practices
