Paraeducator Independence Facilitator - Castori
Overview
Design and deliver individualized behavior intervention and medical support within classroom settings. Assist teachers with instruction and classroom management across special education and general education environments. Provide support in lunchroom and play field areas. This role focuses on enhancing student learning outcomes through targeted behavioral strategies.
What You'll Do11

Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with passing competency assessment
- 2Valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification
- 3Minimum 48 college credit units or Paraeducator Proficiency Exam
- 4At least 5 years of experience in education or related field
- 5Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 6Strong communication and documentation skills
- 7Understanding of special education laws and best practices
- 8Ability to operate basic office equipment and digital platforms
- 9Commitment to inclusive educational practices
- 10Reliable transportation to school location
