What You'll Do11
- 1Provide individualized instruction and behavioral support in general education classrooms
- 2Assist with daily routines including toileting feeding and medical equipment management
- 3Implement behavior plans and monitor student conduct using CPI techniques
- 4Support speech development through augmentative communication tools
- 5Collaborate on IEP implementation and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- 6Maintain clean disinfected learning environments following health protocols
- 7Document progress and collect data for student assessments
- 8Facilitate social skill development and positive peer interactions
- 9Complete required certifications within three months of hire
- 10Perform sanitation tasks and adhere to universal precautions
- 11Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience
- 2Criminal background check and physical examination clearance
- 3Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- 4Completion of Universal Precautions training
- 5Ability to pass drug screening
- 6Strong written and verbal communication skills
