Packaging Operator, Nutraceutical Manufacturing
Overview
You will own the packaging line at Genova Pharma LLC, operating and troubleshooting packaging machinery to meet production targets. You will work with a cross-functional team in a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring every product meets quality and safety standards. This role offers you a direct impact on product quality in a growing nutraceutical company.
What You'll Do8
- 1Operate packaging machinery per SOPs to achieve production goals in the first 90 days.
- 2Set up and adjust packaging equipment to ensure accurate labeling, weight, and seal integrity.
- 3Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions on the line, minimizing downtime and maintaining output.
- 4Load materials such as boxes, film, and labels into machines without interrupting flow.
- 5Inspect finished products to confirm correct labeling, weight, and overall packaging quality.
- 6Monitor production lines, flagging any equipment issues or quality deviations.
- 7Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with GMP and safety standards.
- 8Complete production logs and batch records to ensure full traceability.
Requirements7
- 11-2 years operating packaging machinery in a GMP environment.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- 3Ability to read and follow SOPs and batch records precisely.
- 4Strong attention to detail to inspect products for defects.
- 5Basic mechanical aptitude for setup and troubleshooting of packaging equipment.
- 6Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- 7Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends if needed.
