Overview
Lead maintenance of pharmaceutical packaging equipment in a cGMP setting. Own daily operations and drive continuous improvement. Impact is measured by equipment reliability and compliance.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own and execute monthly preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
- 2Act as primary troubleshooter for electrical electronic and mechanical failures documenting solutions per SOP
- 3Analyze root causes of equipment issues and implement efficient resolutions
- 4Plan and carry out preventive maintenance activities aligned with production schedules
- 5Perform setup and changeovers according to production plans
- 6Report equipment performance status to packaging leadership
- 7Support installation commissioning and debugging of new or modified machinery
- 8Maintain accurate documentation while complying with SOPs cGMP and safety regulations
- 9Complete all required trainings in Master Control
- 10Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless line transitions
- 11Drive process improvements that enhance packaging efficiency
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or technical school certificate
- 25+ years as a GMP Packaging Mechanic with bottle or blister specialization
- 3Experience troubleshooting electrical electronic and mechanical systems
- 4Proficiency in reading precision instruments and microscopes
- 5Ability to lift 50 lbs with possible mechanical assistance
- 6Frequent hand/finger use and ability to reach overhead
- 7Valid respirator for handling specified chemical potencies
- 8Strong communication skills for reporting and documentation
- 9Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication division
- 10Reasoning ability to interpret detailed written or oral instructions
- 11Physical stamina for standing walking and occasional ladder use
