Machine Operator, Packaging & Food-Grade Production
Overview
You will run filling and packaging equipment for Korpack, a packaging solutions company serving leading consumer brands. The line runs to standard every shift, and your work directly drives plant efficiency and output. You will join a team of 20+ operators and report to the Production Supervisor. This role stands out because you get hands-on control of SQF food-grade lines with a clear path to growth as the company expands.
What You'll Do6
- 1Operate filling and packaging equipment to standard, including startups, changeovers, and steady-state running.
- 2Support machine efficiency by keeping the line fed, cleared, and moving; flag any slowdowns immediately.
- 3Perform basic quality and safety checks at required intervals and record results in the ERP (Acumatica).
- 4Escalate jams, defects, or unsafe conditions to the Line Lead immediately.
- 5Assist with changeovers, line clears, and end-of-shift cleanup to maintain food-grade housekeeping.
- 6Rotate stations and support teammates as directed to keep the shift running smoothly.
Requirements5
- 11+ year of production, packaging, or machine operation experience preferred, but we train.
- 2Reliable attendance and a steady, safety-first work style.
- 3Comfort standing for a full shift and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- 4Willingness to follow SQF and GMP food-safety practices.
- 5Ability to read and follow work orders and line instructions.
