What You'll Do8
- 1Run OTR routes across the full 48 states hauling high-value freight including electronics, medical equipment, and aerospace products.
- 2Deliver MRIs, jet engines, and artwork with care, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery for United Mayflower network customers.
- 3Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- 4Secure cargo with straps, chains, and padding to protect high-value items during transit.
- 5Log hours and miles using ELD devices, maintaining accurate records of service.
- 6Communicate with dispatchers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route changes.
- 7Manage load documents, including bills of lading, and obtain signatures for proof of delivery.
- 8Maintain a clean and organized cab, using the inverter and refrigerator for comfort on long hauls.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Class A CDL with 1+ year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- 2Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- 3Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- 4Experience hauling freight across 48 states preferred.
- 5Ability to operate a manual transmission (if applicable).
- 6Professional communication skills for customer interaction.
- 7Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
- 8Must be at least 21 years old per insurance requirements.
