What You'll Do10
- 1Drive OTR routes across all 48 states hauling high-value electronics, medical equipment, and tradeshow displays.
- 2Deliver MRI machines, jet engines, and aerospace product with precision and care.
- 3Complete electronic logging and paperwork for each load, ensuring on-time delivery.
- 4Inspect your 2022-2027 tractor daily and report maintenance needs to the on-site shop.
- 5Secure freight using chains, straps, and air-ride systems to protect HHG crates and artwork.
- 6Communicate dispatch updates and route changes via ELD and mobile app.
- 7Maintain a clean and professional cab, using the APU and inverter for comfort.
- 8Participate in quarterly safety bonuses by following all FMCSA regulations.
- 9Maximize stop pay and mileage by planning efficient routes with dispatcher.
- 10Represent Safeway Logistics at customer locations, delivering white-glove service for high-end product.
Requirements10
- 1Valid Class A CDL with 1+ year of OTR experience.
- 221+ years old with a clean driving record (no major violations in last 3 years).
- 3Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- 4Experience hauling electronics or fragile freight is a plus.
- 5Comfortable with 48-state routes and extended time away.
- 6Strong backing and trip planning skills.
- 7Familiarity with ELD and log books.
- 8Endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker) preferred but not required.
- 9Physical ability to secure loads and climb on trailers.
- 10Commitment to safety and on-time performance.
