What You'll Do9
- 1Safely transport high-value electronics, medical equipment, and aerospace product across all 48 states in a 2022-2027 tractor with APU and Refrigerator.
- 2Plan routes using GPS and ELD to meet delivery schedules while maximizing miles up to 3,400 per week.
- 3Secure cargo with straps, chains, and air ride suspension to prevent damage during transit.
- 4Communicate dispatch updates and delivery confirmations via Qualcomm or ELD messaging.
- 5Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues to the on-site maintenance shop.
- 6Manage paperwork and bills of lading for each load using McLeod software.
- 7Drive safely in all weather conditions, adhering to DOT regulations and hours of service.
- 8Use the in-cab office and dinette to stay productive during downtime.
- 9Participate in quarterly safety and performance bonus programs by meeting milestones.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Class A CDL with 2+ years of OTR driving experience.
- 2Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- 3Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- 4Experience with 28-foot to 53-foot trailers and air ride suspension.
- 5Comfortable driving manual and automatic transmissions.
- 6Willingness to stay out for extended periods, up to 4 weeks at a time.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent.
- 8Must be at least 21 years old.
