What You'll Do7
- 1Haul high-value freight including electronics, medical equipment, and aerospace parts across all 48 states.
- 2Run OTR routes covering up to 3,400 miles per week with reliable dispatch and consistent lane assignments.
- 3Handle loading and unloading of sensitive cargo, using securement and proper handling to prevent damage.
- 4Coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules and adjust routes for weather or traffic.
- 5Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical issues to the on-site maintenance team.
- 6Maintain accurate logs and documentation using electronic logging devices.
- 7Leverage United Mayflower network support for specialized freight like MRIs and trade show displays.
Requirements7
- 1Valid Class A CDL required.
- 21+ year of OTR driving experience preferred.
- 3Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- 4Clean driving record in the last 3 years.
- 5Knowledge of securement and cargo handling for high-value goods.
- 6Willingness to be away from home for extended periods.
- 7Familiarity with ELD and GPS navigation systems.
