What You'll Do8
- 1Drive OTR routes across the full 48 states, delivering high-value cargo like electronics, medical equipment, and aerospace parts.
- 2Secure and inspect freight using proper tie-down and tarping techniques to ensure damage-free transport of sensitive MRIs and jet engines.
- 3Manage your schedule to maximize miles, averaging up to 3,400 miles per week while meeting delivery deadlines.
- 4Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logging hours with electronic logging devices, and reporting any issues to dispatch.
- 5Operate 2022-2027 tractors equipped with APUs, refrigerators, and inverters, maintaining a clean and functional cab.
- 6Communicate with dispatch on route progress, delays, and customer interactions to ensure smooth deliveries.
- 7Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies, prioritizing cargo integrity and road safety.
- 8Participate in seasonal peak periods, offering flexibility for high-volume shipping demands.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Class A CDL with 2+ years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- 2Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years (e.g., DUI, reckless driving).
- 3Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
- 4Experience hauling high-value or fragile freight preferred, especially electronics or medical equipment.
- 5Willingness to run OTR and be away from home for extended periods (up to 3 weeks at a time).
- 6Familiarity with electronic logging devices (e.g., Qualcomm, PeopleNet) and DOT Hours of Service.
- 7Physical capability to secure loads and handle dock deliveries as needed.
- 8Must be at least 21 years old and have a stable work history.
