What You'll Do7
- 1Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures, from bonding to wire changes.
- 2Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands as directed.
- 3Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos.
- 4Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to meet OSHA standards.
- 5Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare.
- 6Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems.
- 7Coordinate with clinical and front office teams, cross-training as needed.
Requirements6
- 11-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant.
- 2RDA or CDA certification preferred.
- 3Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented mindset.
- 4Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the day.
- 5Manual dexterity required.
- 6Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally in patient-care situations.
