What You'll Do7
- 1Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures
- 2Place adjust and remove braces brackets and bands as directed
- 3Take X-rays scans impressions and patient progress photos
- 4Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- 5Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare
- 6Maintain accurate patient records in EMR
- 7Coordinate with clinical and front office teams cross-train as needed
Requirements6
- 11–2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant preferred
- 2RDA or CDA certification preferred
- 3Compassionate reliable and team-oriented mindset
- 4Standing walking bending and reaching throughout the day
- 5Manual dexterity required
- 6Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally more in patient-care situations
