Dental Assistant, Chairside & X-Ray (Chicago)

You will support a high-volume dental practice in Chicago, taking ownership of chairside assisting, digital imaging, and patient flow. What You'll Do7
- 1Take digital x-rays and intra-oral photos for every patient, ensuring clear diagnostics for the dentist.
- 2Document medical and dental history per dentist instructions, maintaining accurate records.
- 3Assist the dentist during procedures, passing instruments and anticipating needs for smooth operations.
- 4Maintain clean and organized clinical areas, following OSHA and CDC sterilization protocols.
- 5Restock rooms, track inventory, and place orders to keep supplies ready.
- 6Keep the team on schedule by seating patients on time and managing the flow of appointments.
- 7Deliver a 5-star patient experience, encouraging positive reviews and repeat visits.
Requirements9
- 11+ years of chairside assisting experience in a dental practice.
- 2Proficiency in taking digital x-rays and intra-oral photos.
- 3Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- 4Ability to take impressions and temporary crowns.
- 5Comfortable with x-ray equipment and safety protocols.
- 6Professional communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- 7Strong time management and organizational skills to handle a fast-paced schedule.
- 8Reliable transportation to and from the office.
- 9Willingness to work some Saturdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
