What You'll Do10

  • 1Evaluate patient functional abilities and determine intervention needs while establishing measurable treatment goals
  • 2Implement individualized therapy plans addressing physical social spiritual cultural educational and age-specific needs
  • 3Document assessments and progress using standardized department protocols and regulatory guidelines
  • 4Communicate critical patient information to physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams ensuring seamless care coordination
  • 5Demonstrate adaptability by assisting in various patient care areas and managing departmental shifts
  • 6Direct and delegate tasks to COTAs therapists and students while maintaining competency verification
  • 7Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and meet established productivity standards
  • 8Collaborate with faculty at the University of Arizona College of Medicine for academic advancement
  • 9Maintain accurate records reflecting comprehensive patient progress and innovative treatment approaches
  • 10Lead discharge planning processes and modify referrals based on evolving patient requirements

Requirements8

  • 15+ years building OT services with Spark and Airflow
  • 2Current Occupational Therapy license from the State of practice
  • 3BLS certification
  • 4Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • 5Magnet recognized clinical environment experience
  • 6Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced high-volume settings
  • 7Strong written and verbal communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
  • 8Preferred advanced certification in neuropsychology or pediatric OT
