What You'll Do11
- 1Administer occupational therapy treatment according to plan of care supervised by Occupational Therapist
- 2Implement individualized treatment plans considering patient physical social spiritual cultural educational and age specific needs
- 3Provide skilled treatment safely while monitoring effectiveness and collaborating with Occupational Therapist to modify plans
- 4Identify and prioritize limiting factors participate in discharge planning and involve patient family caregivers in treatment decisions
- 5Document communication with supervising Occupational Therapist report changes in patient condition recommend modifications to referrals and update treatment goals
- 6Collaborate with Occupational Therapist to modify/update treatment goals ensuring they are functional measurable patient related and reflect key limiting factors
- 7Refer patients when treatment requires Occupational Therapist skills
- 8Document according to department and regulatory standards legibly complete documentation within established time frames and record innovative treatment techniques
- 9Communicate pertinent patient information to physicians nurses patient family caregivers and interdisciplinary teams clearly and timely defend treatment rationale using standard practices
- 10Exhibit adaptability in assignments take initiative to assist in other patient care areas and accept responsibility for all patient care needs
- 11Supervise and delegate tasks to Therapy Technicians and COTA students ensuring compliance with department policies and regulatory agencies
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Post-offer Occupational Health physical assessment drug screen and background check including employment criminal and education
- 3Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license from the State of practice
- 4BLS certification required
- 5Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card for Banner Home Care AZ positions
- 6Graduated from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the AOTA or equivalent
