What You'll Do9

  • 1Provide comfort and safety for residents, detecting and reporting hazards to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • 2Assist with daily care tasks including bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper lifting techniques.
  • 3Document care delivered in EMR and log vitals for each resident.
  • 4Observe residents and report symptoms, reactions, or condition changes to nursing staff.
  • 5Answer call lights promptly, addressing resident needs or escalating to the Charge Nurse or other departments.
  • 6Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring clean and safe resident environments.
  • 7Walk with ambulatory residents or push wheelchairs as needed, performing physical tasks up to 50+ lbs.
  • 8Support non-clinical duties during the introductory period as a Hospitality Aide, such as making beds, passing water, and assisting in dining.
  • 9Communicate with tact and empathy in sensitive situations, upholding a high standard of customer service.

Requirements6

  • 1High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 21+ years of caregiving experience preferred but not required.
  • 3Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 4Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • 5Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • 6Commitment to completing the Nurse Aide training and certification process.
