New Graduate Nurse Practitioner, Wound Care & Mentorship in CA

NP role focusing on wound care and patient education in a mentorship-driven team. What You'll Do8
- 1Build comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and care plans for wound care and related conditions
- 2Diagnose and develop treatment plans and coordinate therapies in collaboration with physicians
- 3Prescribe medications and therapies within state NP scope of practice
- 4Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs and imaging
- 5Provide patient education on disease management, prevention, and wellness
- 6Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- 7Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
- 8Support continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Requirements8
- 1Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program
- 2Active or pending California NP licensure and certification (FNP, AGNP, or related)
- 3Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- 4BLS/ACLS certification required
- 5Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- 6Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- 7Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based setting
