Mobile Therapist, Community Behavioral Health & Family Support
Overview
The Mobile Therapist will own community based behavioral health services at scale, stepping clients down to less intensive care as appropriate. You will collaborate with schools, DPBHS, and community providers to deliver psychoeducation and crisis intervention. This role operates in Columbus and surrounding areas with partial telehealth options and occasional travel days. You will join a mission-driven team focused on trauma-informed care and client-centered outcomes.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and sustain direct clinical care for a defined caseload in home, school, and community settings
- 2Provide weekly supervision and monthly group supervision to support clinical excellence
- 3Deliver psychoeducation to children, adolescents, and families and coordinate with DPBHS and other providers
- 4Assess risk and crisis needs using crisis intervention skills to maintain client safety and progress
- 5Develop and implement individualized treatment plans informed by developmental, family, and community factors
- 6Engage families and schools to practice and reinforce skills that increase resilience
- 7Complete clinical documentation within established timeframes and ensure accuracy
- 8Collaborate with community resources, refer as needed, and communicate with stakeholders
- 9Participate in ongoing professional development and uphold ethical standards
- 10Travel daily to client homes and schools, with flexibility for office-based work as needed
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field
- 2Provide a minimum of 10 hours of service per week
- 3Hold a valid Driver’s License
- 4Ability to drive and visit clients in their homes and schools
- 5Experience delivering behavioral health services in community settings
- 6Ability to work partially telehealth and in office as required
- 7Comfort working with diverse populations and families
- 8Commitment to trauma-informed, client-centered care
Salary Insight
$37 - $83k per year
