Overview

The Behavioral Health Therapist will own patient-centered mental health and crisis intervention services across multiple care settings while traveling to partner facilities. You will join an interdisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed and culturally responsive care at scale, including outpatient, inpatient, emergency, school-based, and integrated care environments. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, treatment planning, and collaboration to support coping skills and ongoing support.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build individual, group, and family therapy plans and deliver therapy in diverse settings
  • 2Design crisis intervention strategies and safety assessments to mitigate risk
  • 3Lead treatment planning and progress documentation to support continuity of care
  • 4Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive behavioral health services within an interdisciplinary team
  • 5Provide accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records and maintain HIPAA compliance
  • 6Support patients in developing coping skills and goals for ongoing support
  • 7Coordinate care with facilities, while traveling locally and nationally
  • 8Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes
  • 9Assess, monitor, and document patient responses and outcomes within specified timelines
  • 10Provide education and support to patients and families on treatment goals and resources

Requirements10

  • 1Master’s degree in social work counseling psychology or related field
  • 2Current state licensure or eligibility as a behavioral health professional (eg LMSW LCSW LPC LCPC LMHC LMFT)
  • 3Experience providing behavioral health assessments counseling or therapy services
  • 4Knowledge of mental health diagnoses treatment planning crisis intervention and therapeutic techniques
  • 5Ability to assess safety risks and respond to crisis situations
  • 6Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 7Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • 8Basic computer skills and ability to document in an electronic health record
  • 9Current valid driver’s license and ability to travel to assignments
  • 10BLS certification from Vibra Travels approved vendor
