Mental Health Therapist, Field-Based & Community Care
Overview
Own field-based mental health therapy across in-home, school, and community settings with IRL. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy, complete documentation for county and state requirements, and develop interventions to address child and youth mental health needs. What You'll Do8
- 1Build case plans and deliver individual, group, and family therapy to clients in multiple locations including homes and schools
- 2Design and implement interventions addressing child and youth mental health symptoms and behaviors
- 3Schedule and coordinate weekly therapy sessions and family sessions to maximize client attendance
- 4Provide crisis support and be available for occasional late night family sessions and monthly crisis line coverage
- 5Document to meet County, State, and Federal requirements and maintain accurate records
- 6Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in ongoing training and mentorship programs
- 7Travel to multiple community sites across Los Angeles County and provide care across field settings
- 8Maintain sensitive and compliant handling of client information and confidentiality
Requirements10
- 1Master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy or Social Work or related Human Behavioral field
- 2Licensed MFT or LCSW, or MFT/LCSW Trainee with a 4-way agreement
- 3Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Zoom, Teams, email and internet, with ability to learn new systems
- 4Access to reliable transportation and travel to multiple sites with appropriate auto liability coverage (25/50k)
- 5Clear FBI and state background check
- 6Ability to travel to multiple community locations including schools and homes in Los Angeles County
- 7TB test results indicating health clearance
- 8Strong communication and collaboration skills
- 9Comfort working in field-based environments and flexible scheduling
