Mental Health Practitioner, Trauma & Multicultural Care
Overview
You will own comprehensive mental health assessments and personalized treatment plans for clients in their homes, supporting a team dedicated to Trauma Informed and Multicultural care. You'll deliver individual and group therapy, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for clients from historically marginalized backgrounds. Your work will directly shape care for clients facing personal, emotional, and family challenges, with a focus on anti-racism and anti-oppression. This role offers a chance to practice independently while being part of a mission-driven practice, with 2+ years of clinical experience preferred.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans for each client.
- 2Lead individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and Trauma Informed approaches.
- 3Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluation.
- 4Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, culturally responsive care.
- 5Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in the EHR system.
- 6Educate clients and families on mental health issues and coping strategies.
- 7Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities.
- 8Advocate for clients' needs and connect them with community resources.
Requirements8
- 1Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- 2Current state licensure as a Mental Health Practitioner (LPC, LCSW, or similar).
- 32+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- 4Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
- 5Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 6Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- 7Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to client-centered care.
- 8Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
