Mental Health Therapist, LCSW LPC LSW LAC
Overview
You will own a full caseload of individuals, families, and couples, delivering therapy that drives measurable improvements in mental health and emotional well-being. You will join a supportive team across three New Jersey locations with free clinical supervision for LSW/LAC candidates. This role stands apart with flexible scheduling and a hybrid model, empowering you to balance client care with personal life.
What You'll Do10
- 1Assess patient needs through structured interviews and standardized tools within the first week.
- 2Develop personalized treatment plans with measurable goals for each client by day 30.
- 3Implement evidence-based interventions in individual, family, and couples sessions.
- 4Document progress notes and treatment updates in the EHR after each session.
- 5Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and community partners to coordinate care.
- 6Adjust therapeutic approaches based on client feedback and outcome measures each month.
- 7Manage a caseload of 20-30 clients while maintaining accurate records.
- 8Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed, focusing on shared recovery goals.
- 9Participate in weekly clinical supervision and team meetings to sharpen skills.
- 10Use telehealth platforms for hybrid sessions with remote clients.
Requirements7
- 1LCSW, LPC, LSW, or LAC license in New Jersey
- 21+ years providing therapy to individuals, families, or couples
- 3Strong grasp of CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care
- 4Experience with electronic health records and telehealth software
- 5Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology
- 6Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- 7Commitment to cultural competence and working with diverse populations
