Overview
Independently licensed therapist to join a hybrid outpatient practice in Phoenix on a 1099 contract. You will manage your own caseload delivering ethical, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, evidence-based care through telehealth and in-person sessions. You will work in a client-centered, collaborative environment with autonomy and flexible scheduling. This role offers a hybrid model with opportunity for varied modalities and populations.
What You'll Do10
- 1Provide individual psychotherapy and potentially couples, family, and group therapy
- 2Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, risk assessments, and treatment planning
- 3Develop measurable, individualized treatment plans and regularly assess progress
- 4Deliver evidence-based interventions within scope of practice
- 5Maintain compliant documentation including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, releases of information, and billing records
- 6Assess safety concerns such as suicide risk, self-harm, abuse, substance use, and crises
- 7Coordinate care with psychiatric, primary care, and other providers as clinically indicated
- 8Maintain HIPAA compliance, legal requirements, and organizational policies
- 9Keep active license, professional liability insurance, and ongoing continuing education
- 10Possibly support and participate in group therapy and outreach to diverse client populations
Requirements7
- 1Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related behavioral-health field
- 2Active, unrestricted independent Arizona license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LIAC or other independently licensed professional)
- 3Ability to independently assess, diagnose, treat, and document psychotherapy services
- 4Experience with electronic health records and timely clinical documentation
- 5Strong interpersonal skills, clinical judgment, organization, and ability to build therapeutic rapport
- 6Current professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain it before starting
- 7Willingness to work in a hybrid model and adapt to client needs
