Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor, Spanish Speaking
Overview
Own the provision of outpatient counseling services to a diverse, primarily Spanish-speaking population at NATIVE HEALTH. You will deliver individual, family, and group therapy within a multidisciplinary team at a community health center. This role emphasizes culturally competent care, HIPAA compliance, and evidence-based practices in mental health and substance use treatment. What You'll Do5
- 1Build and deliver therapeutic counseling for individuals, families, and groups focused on general mental health and substance use
- 2Provide accurate documentation, billing, and program audit support to ensure compliance and continuity of care
- 3Lead case staffing meetings and peer review sessions to improve treatment outcomes
- 4Collaborate with the care team and external providers to coordinate patient care and follow up
- 5Support organizational goals by contributing to culturally competent care and health promotion within the Spanish-speaking community
Requirements5
- 1Master’s degree in social work or counseling or related field
- 2Active and unrestricted AZBBHE licensure as LCSW LPC or LMFT
- 3Bilingual in Spanish required with fluency demonstrated
- 4Three years of specialized experience in mental health and/or substance abuse with diverse populations preferred
- 5Valid Arizona driver's license and ability to meet driving safety requirements
